Change Life Victoria has a team of experienced Psychologists, Accredited mental health social workers, Counsellors, Occupational therapists, Speech pathologists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Remedial massage therapists and Hypnotherapists. These services are provided within a professional, warm and welcoming setting. Our practitioners are specialised in a wide variety of issues.

Johny C Mattam

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Johny C Mattam, an Accredited mental health social worker, having 26 years of experience in the community development field out of which 15 years working as a mental health practitioner . He holds a Master’s degree in social work, certificate 1V in mental health and certificate 1V in training and assessment (TAA). Over these years he has supported many clients with complex needs and challenges from multi-cultural backgrounds. He applies the bio-psycho-social model to assess and assist people with their problems to improve their emotional wellbeing. He has a vast experience working with children ,youth, adults and seniors. 

He uses a number of different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness and Family Therapy. He focuses primarily on depression & anxiety, mood disorders, life adjustments, addiction and substance abuse, relationship conflicts, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. He is proficient in different languages and holding strong interpersonal relationship among different community groups.

He is the founder member of Casey Malayalee Community Organisation and Thoolika Literary Platform. Currently Johny Mattam is the president of Australian Malayalee Literary Association ( AMLA) and president of Misamt life – a leading multicultural community organisation in Melbourne.

Mini Johny

Director

Mini Johny is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in the perioperative field. She holds a diploma in nursing from overseas and has completed her post certificate BSc Nursing. She worked as a nursing tutor cum clinical supervisor for two years. Her exceptional work has been recognised as she was conferred the Best Staff Nurse Award in 1998. Currently working as an associate Nurse Unit Manager at Monash Health. She actively participates in socio- cultural activities and is an executive member of Casey Malayalee & MiSmat Life, both of which are leading community organisations. She was a Parish Pastor Council Member for Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC), Narre warren for two years. 

She is currently, the Director of Change Life Australia.
